Biography

Floyd's half sister, not Frank's daughter Edith. Visited Floyd's family in Moline unannounced with Gertrude; their behavior distressed Ethel. Called both a half-sister and stepsister of Floyd. Age 12 when Olive moved into Dan’s house. Included in the statement that Floyd’s Vosburg half-sisters except Florence married more than once and that every Vosburg child died a pauper. Explicitly distinguished from Floyd's half sister Edith Vosburg. Abused at 18 months by stepmother Clara; recovered with Mary's care and became a loving mother. Said her dying mother's love was enough to last a lifetime.
