Carol recalls being very active in the Peppy Steppers 4-H Club for many years, starting at age nine, despite not living on a farm. The club leaders were Mrs. Earl Holder and Mrs. Earl Bustard.

I was very active in 4-H Club activities, even though we didn’t live on a farm. Our club was called the Peppy Steppers, and I belonged for many years, starting when I was nine years old. Our leaders were Mrs. Earl Holder and Mrs. Earl Bustard.
