A Christmas Box to Treasure

Bill remembered Ethel Guild as a friend and someone he enjoyed talking with. At Christmas she prepared a special box of candy and cookies for him, which he hid under his bed to avoid sharing. He fondly recalled her other baking and the pleasure of visiting her house.

I always felt she was my friend, a good person to talk with. I recall, at Christmas she would prepare a box of candy and cookies just for me. I really treasured that, so I would hide it under my bed so I wouldn’t have to share it. This also brings to memory other wonderful things she baked.
